Construction safety policy, HSE mean health & safety & environmental

Midrar Safety philosophy has historically been that an affective safety program must be an integral part of accompanies operation. The safety & health & environmental of employees should be given prime confederation as we engaged in operations and activities for any company. In order to protect employees from suffering and hardship caused by injuries, we should promote safe work practices and maintain a sage working environment through an effective accident prevention program. Employee safety is the direct responsibility.

We will require performing all job assignments in safe manner. This information has been prepared to in form your company any safety procedure requirements. All rules and guidelines are based commonly recognized safe practices, applicable codes, standards and regulations, and industry recommended practices, and are not intended to be all inclusive.

INVIROMENTAL PHILOSOPHY PROCEDURE

Midrar environmental philosophy is to plan and conduct operations such that adverse effects on the environment will be avoided. This will be accomplished by implementing the best procedures and processes that have been proven to be technically sound and economically feasible. The company assumes that the expense of environmental protection.

Midrar as contractor will be required to perform all job assignments in consistent manner this information is prepared as guidance for contractor environmental compliance and should not be considered as all-inclusive. As Midrar contractor we are required to insure that our employees are familiar with this environmental all our operations as same procedure.

 

 

 

MIDRAR RESPONSIBILITIES

 


Midrar will responsible for the below :

 

  • Providing their personal and well-maintained tools, equipment and personal protective gear necessary for a particular work.

  • Maintaining a first-aid program, which will provide for a trained first-aid person or persons at each work site and first-aid kit with proper supplies for the work exposures. On same work sites a paramedic-level person or medical doctor may be required. Midrar will accept the advice the company prior to awarding the work.

  • Ensuring that all personal are familiar with and understand these guidelines and requirements as present.

  • Ensuring all personal are qualified and trained to perform the contracted services. Documentation or certifications must be provided upon request.

  • Planning safety and pollution prevention into all operations and coordination all activities with companies designated representative.

  • Ensuring all accidents, injuries occupational illnesses and pollution incidents occurring in company and our property are reported immediately or as soon as practice all to the appropriate company and our representatives.

  • Enforcing all applicable laws and local regulations pertaining to a particular operation for with their services are contracted by the company.

  • Instructing all personnel to report any unsafe conditions or practices to his immediate supervisor or the appropriate company representative.

  • Ensuring all contracted facilities meet acceptable health environmental standards and the work area is maintained in a clean the end of the shift or if the work suspended for incase.

  • Advising the company representative or any unique hazards presented found the contractors work.

 

 

 

PPE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Personal protective equipment required while the labors are working in field or production area or any life line area outside the offices PPE are very important this things to protect the person and this procedure to be applies all our workers from manager to simple labor as same.

 

  1. safety coveralls

    Personal clothing should fit working conditions and the weather each person shall remain completely clothed while working, when the works they are wearing the coveralls it will give good face for the company because this dress is limited by the workers.

  2. SAFETY BOOTS

    The workers must be wear safety boots in good condition, and good quality non-skid soles shall be worn in all designated work areas.

  3. SAFETY HELMET

    Head protection all personal in designated work areas must wear a safety helmet can be consulted for effective head protection requirements.

  4. SAFETY GLASESS AND FACE PROTECTION

    Safety glasses must be wear the workers while they are work area as well face protection when hazards to the eyes or face like welding, buffing, grinding, sandblasting, and painting operations, chemical handling, and etc.

  5. HEARING PROTECTION

    All personal in high noise areas must wear hear protection shall conform to regulatory requirements and industry standers. High noise areas. Like working near by the heavy equipment as dozers and excavators and generators compressors etc;

  6. SAFETY GLOVES

    Safety gloves is a hand protective must be wear where there is exposure to high temperature, sharp edges, chemicals, or any another materials, which may cause injury to the hands except when working carpenter job or welding mason job and etc.

  7. SAFETY VEST

    Life jacket or safety vest are required when the workers are building lease construction or they are working on the road as flagman and for traffic to give instruction to the people and also the workers are working night shift at the rig to show there people is working.

  8. FALL PROTECTION

    A full body harness, equipped with a lanyard complete with double –locking snap hooks on each end, shall be used where the fall hazard is unprotected by standard railing or the working height exceeds 7 feet.

  9. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION EQUIPMENT

    When applicable to the work conditions, contractor shall have a written respiratory protection program that conforms to standard industry practices and regulations promulgated by local agencies.

    We shall ensure all our employees are familiar with there approved respiratory protection program requirements and are in the use and maintenance of respiratory protection equipment.

  10. DUST MASK


  11. Dust mask must be wear when the workers they are working dust area or fish because dust enter throe by mouth and the nose so dust mask will protect and chemical materials as well.

 

SCOPE WORK SAFELY

 

 

  1. Safety meetings
    Safety meetings Midrar have schedule there is safety meeting weekly for the department and monthly safety meeting for general midrar employees to remind mistakes and how to correct the mistakes.

    We have schedule to held safety meeting on the work site every morning 10 minute or 15 minute be fore we start the work. Safety supervisor or site supervisor one of each may give the workers instruction and how to do right thing to be a safe site the safety is first thing to think about be start the work, Work safely you go back home safe because there is family are waiting you.

    Regularly safety meeting must be held at company and contractor locations. All our personal shall attend unless excused by the appropriate company representative. Written documentation of each meeting must be kept at the work site.

    MEDICATION INFORMATION

    With the appropriate supervisor's permission, an individual may boss for and limited to his use is kept in the original container and the individual has notified his or supervisor when the medication was started and discontinued. Employees on medication which may impair or limit their ability to perform job duties are to inform their supervisors immediately.

 

HAZARD COMMUNICATION

 


We shall have written hazard communication program in accordance with appropriate local regulations and international standard shall conduct all required employees training. We shall inform company's designated representative of hazardous chemicals and material supplied and used by as. We shall furnish and use personal protective equipment necessary for safe handling of hazardous chemicals and materials.

 

2. Isolated work areas

 


Our personnel working alone in small group or in isolated areas will periodically

3. Smoking:

 


Smoking is absolutely prohibited at all facilities except in designated smoking areas.

4. Entry into water

 


Entry into water is strictly forbidden, if not authorized. Rescue entry will be made
Only under the following conditions:

 

  • Excess clothing and shoes removed.

  • Life jacket on and properly secured.

  • Lifeline attached to the rescue.

  • One or more persons in place to man the lifeline.

 

5. Emergency drills

 

Routine emergency drills are to be conducted periodically for each crew can manned locations, platforms, drilling rigs, and elsewhere as required by local standards and regulations. All our personnel shall participate in as instructed by the company and our representative.

6. Signs

 


Contract personnel shall comply with all signs posted, throughout company our.

7. Employee orientation

Contract personnel working for company must receive basic safety orientation from a recognized industry organization such as the international association of geophysical contractors (IAGC), petroleum education council 9pec), offshore marine services association (omsa), International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) or the Petroleum Industry Training Service (PITS).
8. Lockout-ragout:

When applicable, contractors is required to gives lockout-ragout procedures for their employees to follow while working in powered equipment, pressurized system and when performing confined space entry operation. Lockout rages. Only the person attaching them can remove locks or locking bars.


Reporting to Work

All contractors personnel shall report to the to appropriate supervisory representative upon arrival at company facility or other work location. Our personnel will be given a safety orientation for familiarization with the facility or location’s emergency procedures.


Safety work Permit


We shall utilize permit system as follows:
A safety work permit shall be issued if contractor work’s activities in and around
the process may compromise the safety and health of personnel in the work area.
The permit shall be issued each work day special safety precaution should be taken for
the following welding, entry into a confined space, whirling activities, work over
operations, or any other activities that might cause a fair on an explosion as recognized
by the designated person in charge.
A work permit shall be filled out completely and most specifically outline the work
to be done for each active.
A new work permit must be issued whine the individual that filled out the original
permit goes off duty or whine conditions change causing initial instruction to
become invalid.


Welding and Cutting

 


We shall ensure that all personnel are familiar with safe practices and
regulatory requirement for welding and cutting operation. Contractor shall have
established preventative maintenance practices for their welding and cutting equipment

 

Confined Space


Whine confined space entry is necessary as part of the work contract we shall:

 

  1. Have written program for confined space entry in accordance with industry and
    local regulations.

  2. Ensure that all personnel are familiar with confined space entry procedures and
    have received appropriate training prior to performing confined space operation.

 

Equipment Operator Qualification

Equipment operator (came, forklift …etc.)Performing services for company or contractor shall be properly trained and qualified in accordance industry standard and local regulatory requirements. Upon request, we shall provide written training verification, including the name and status of each operator, and any restrictions.


Crane Safety

 


The following items address crane requirement:

 

  • Our crane operators must receive permission from a company representative before
    operating any crane on company property.

  • A crane operator is responsible for the safety of all personnel in the area
    of crane operation.

  • Crane operators shall never exceed the lifting capacity of the crane.

  • Crane operators shall be in visual sight of the load before lifting, unless there is
    signal man present.

  • Crane operators shall use extreme caution when loading and unloading boats.

  • All crane operation will comply with company operation procedures.

 

Transportation

Transport safety requirement will follow established international standards
local regulations, as appropriate. Transport issues will vary between work sites
must be finalized approved prior to communicating that work. The following safety
issues should be addressed:

 

  1. Contractor personal must be transported be suitable transport means
    company or contractor locations offshore and onshore in marsh and water bound areas.

  2. We shall furnish transportation to all land locations, if travel is by
    vehicle. Arrangements, however, may very according to contracts.

  3. We shall ensure that no-bound personnel are familiar with transportation
    safety information. Transportation information can be referenced in APIRP-IT.

  4. Contractor shall follow posted safe practices for helicopter operation, including:
    • Safe loading and unloading of equipment’s and personnel.
    • Proper load manifesting and communication with the rig and shore base.
    • Maintaining and unobstructed helped and staging area.
    • Providing on-site fire fighting and emergency capability.

  5. We shall agree to cooperate with company on all transportation related safety
    audits and work toward resolving finding or unacceptable condition.

  6. We must receive company approval to use subcontracted transportation services.

 

Swing Rope and Personnel Basket

 

It is the responsibility of us to ensure that all our employees are instructed in the
proper use of the swing rope and personnel basket before reporting to a company
marine location.

Accident reporting Procedures
All accidents injuries and occupational illness occurring on company or our property shall be reported immediately or as soon as practical to the
appropriate and our representative. It is the all accidents involving damaged equipment or property, bodily injury and / or illness are reported.
Our person-in-charge shall become familiar with company accident reporting procedures before beginning any work activity. This will eliminate confusion and uncertainly if an accident occurs.
